We are an administrative firm seeking a purpose-driven bookkeepers to join our team and support our incredible network of churches, nonprofits, and mission-driven businesses. In this role, you will become a trusted advisor to visionary leaders, providing cash management, reporting, and account reconciliation.
What You Will Do:
Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice generation, vendor payments, and receivables tracking.
Perform bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management and stakeholders.
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
Maintained meticulous documentation and filed financial records according to established procedures.
Coordinate with partners for reporting and monthly checkins
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or reporting roles.
Experience working with churches or nonprofit organizations is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar)
Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong ethical standards and a high level of confidentiality.
Must have access to a computer, high-speed internet, and web-cam.
Must have a working knowledge of zoom, email, and Microsoft office or google workspace.
